The Independent Solution Master
ENTJ Tritype® 853
Why is Magneto an ENTJ Solution Master in stress mode, often in the grip of his inferior function?
Erik Lehnsherr was born in 1930. Lehnsherr’s mother and father were Jews from Düsseldorf, Germany. During the Nazi regime, the family unit is taken to Auschwitz concentration camp, in which Lehnsherr, then a boy, is separated from his mother and father. Contrived by fear and anger he then exerts his mutant strength against the steel gate setting them apart from him till the Germans knock him unconscious.
In 1983, Lehnsherr lives in Poland under the alias of Henryk Gurzsky with his wife Magda and his daughter Nina. He remains the world’s most wanted man and the Polish government is alerted to his presence due to an incident at a steel mill. He then returns home to find that Interpol is awaiting him with non-metallic weapons having taken Magda and Nina hostage. Nina happens to also be a mutant and her strengths are triggered by stress and she is accidentally killed by a harrow.
People with ENTJ preferences get stressed when they don’t feel they have control of a situation.

This and other events cause Magneto to regard mutants as evolutionarily superior to humans and to reject the possibility of peaceful human-mutant coexistence

Tritype® 358, 385, 538, 583, 835, 853-The Solution Master
If you are a 358, you are ambitious, knowledgeable, and protective. You want to be efficient, wise, and straightforward. Tough-minded, you are good at studying a problem and finding both original and practical solutions others often miss. Highly tenacious, you work tirelessly until you find effective solutions and can prevail against any type of adversity. Winning is very important in the game of life.

extraverted Thinking Dominant
Only INTJs at their best are a Mastermind archetype (see my post with Professor X) and Te dominant is a much better representation of “structural force” (provide structure – 1 ENTJ*.)
Inferior Fi
He is OK to kiss Mystique in her original form while Professor X would not since Xavier cares more about how he feels (Xavier has territory Fi, INTJ)
“[..] In the inferior position – prior to maturation – Fi manifests as a reluctance to show or even feel vulnerability. The Te-user may refuse to disclose their feelings to others, and may even refuse to recognize them within themselves.”

Unhealthy Te hero/ Unhealthy immature Fi
He leaves Mystique behind (the mutant brotherhood) when she loses her powers in X-Men The Last Stand, 2006
“[..] Until their inferior function develops, ESTJs and ENTJs may even experience trouble accessing their own emotions – they may be ceaselessly hard on themselves, wanting to believe themselves to be impenetrable to the core. These types spend a great deal of their young lives mastering the art of emotional repression.”
